Dear QRPer.net Members,
As many of you have likely noticed, our QRPer.net Discussion Board has recently been targeted by an influx of SPAM users and comments. In response, our superhero administrator, Brian (K3ES), has been diligently working to sort and flag the SPAM comments and users from the genuine contributors.
To address this issue, we are implementing changes to our user registration process.

Iam already registered, do I need to re-register?
No…these are only for new registrations. 🙂
Thanks for clarifying. I was just about to register, but then thought I should probably check the comments first. Glad that I did not produce more work for the team of moderators.

NO, NO, NO
I used vBulletin back in 2003 for my Wasteland fan site I used to run on FreeBSD, I thought it had pretty good spam filters. It’s been awhile so I can’t recall the details. Glad you are getting it fixed. 72 de AI5DD Joe
Three important things:
1. You must register for yourself at QRPer.net. The software does not permit Administrators to do that for you.
2. We need you to email us at [email protected] to confirm your account request as authentic.
3. We are already seeing apparent spammers in the list of newly registered accounts, so items 1 and 2 are really important.
Thanks for your help!
